Description
We are seeking a dedicated Psychotherapist with a specialization in couples therapy to join our mental health facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for facilitating individuals and couples through their personal and relational struggles, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches. The role involves conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing psychotherapy to couples experiencing a range of emotional, psychological, and behavioral issues. This position requires a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality, as well as a commitment to ongoing professional development. The successful candidate will join a supportive team environment and contribute to the holistic well-being of clients within the GCC region.
Requirements
1. Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
2. Licensed to practice as a Psychotherapist within the GCC region.
3. Proven experience in couples therapy and an understanding of diverse therapeutic models and interventions.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
5. Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed to accommodate clients' schedules.
Desirable
1. Training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) or other evidence-based models specific to couples therapy.
2. Experience working in a multicultural environment and sensitivity towards diverse cultural backgrounds.
